A free training course to become a walking leader, leader of a walking group for health, will take place on Saturday 11 May in Faenza.
The event, organized by the Department of Public Health as part of the “Let’s build Health” project, will be held from 9.30 am at the pps-ama “Sano Medical” at the Fitness Shopping Center “La Filanda”. Participation is free and open to all citizens, subject to availability of places.
The objective is to train people with adequate skills and knowledge in leading a walking group.
Specifically, the walking leader organizes the walks, chooses the duration, the route, takes care of the safety and integrity of the group, acts as a “motivator” and guarantees continuity of the activity.
The course will see the participation of a sports medicine doctor, a psychologist, a kinesiologist and a professor from the University of Bologna.
