The notice for the assignment of financial reimbursements on the water service tariff for the year 2024 has been published, aimed at all residents in the municipalities of Prato, Montemurlo, Poggio a Caiano, Carmignano, Vaiano, Vernio and Cantagallo.

The benefit provides a financial reimbursement on water consumption in the home of residence to families in economic difficulty. It is also aimed at people who for health reasons need to consume above average.

Refunds will be paid until funds are exhausted according to a ranking formed on the basis of the ISEE value and will be carried out by the manager.

Refunds may also be given to users in arrears.

With the same ISEE value, priority will be given to families in which there is at least one member with a disability (as defined for ISEE purposes and resulting in the relevant declaration). In the event of further parity, priority will be given to larger families (as resulting from the ISEE declaration used). The ranking will scroll within the limits of available resources.

The reimbursement assigned cannot be greater than the water tariff expense incurred in the year 2023 and will not be less than 1/3 of the annual amount owed by the user to the Manager gross of any contributions assigned in that year.

Citizens with an ordinary or current ISEE value can apply:

– not exceeding 13,500 euros;

– not exceeding 15,000 euros in the event that there is at least one person in the household who, due to particular appropriately certified medical conditions, requires greater use of water, at least 30% higher than their historical consumption, or averages of domestic users’ consumption;

– between 13,500 and 19,000 euros if there are at least 4 fiscally dependent children in the household;

It is important to correctly indicate your Publiacqua user number, without which the application will be incomplete. This 12-digit number starting with “20000” or “25000” for both single and condominium users, can be obtained from the bill or by contacting Publiacqua with reference to the system number shown on the invoice.

In the case of a condominium user, a certificate must be completed by the condominium administrator or by the person in charge of the aggregate user, reporting the amount of expenditure for water consumption incurred by the applicant in 2023.

The application must be submitted starting from 6 May 2024 at 12pm and no later than 28 May 2024 at 1pm, under penalty of exclusion, in the following ways: Municipality of Prato – by connecting online to the Municipality of Prato website: www. comune.prato.it.

The application must be submitted online only, authenticating with one of the following methods:

– through the activation and use of your CNS card (National Services Card), equipping yourself with a smart-card reader and following the procedure indicated on the institutional website of the Municipality of Prato (www.comune.prato.it);

– via SPID (Public Digital Identity System) and following the procedure indicated on the institutional website of the Municipality of Prato (www.comune.prato.it);

– via the electronic identity card and following the procedure indicated on the institutional website of the Municipality of Prato (www.comune.prato.it);

The online application is automatically registered by the computer system and it is therefore not necessary to submit it to the Protocol Office of the Municipality.

In exceptional cases and only for the elderly and people with proven fragility (disabilities or other objective conditions that do not allow access to IT procedures and tools) and without a family network capable of ensuring the compilation, it may be required to submit the application for contribution at the offices of the Social and Immigration Service of the Municipality in Via Roma n. 101 who, by appointment only, and until all available places are filled, will provide assistance with completing the application electronically.

The appointment date can be scheduled by telephone by calling the toll-free number 800922912, during the following opening hours to the public:

– Monday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 5pm;

– Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 1pm.

On the day of the appointment, the applicant must be equipped with the necessary data and documentation, required by this announcement, to submit the request for the contribution.

Only one application can be submitted for each family unit.

If the applicant submits more than one contribution application, the last application submitted will be considered useful for the purposes of participation in this announcement.

Appointments will be scheduled until the maximum number of available places is reached.

specifying in the subject “supplementary water tender 2023” (sending the completed, signed application with the attachments);

– personally at the Protocol Office of the Municipality located in Piazza della Repubblica n. 1 from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm (delivering the completed, signed application and attachments);

– only in case of actual need, it is possible to make an appointment by calling the numbers 0574/558571 – 0574/558556 – 0574/558524 during office hours in order to receive support in completing the application;

Therefore, other methods of submitting the application are not permitted.

For applications submitted on paper (where applicable), use the appropriate form:

– Attachment “A1” for single users

– Attachment “A2” in addition for aggregate/condominium users

The following documentation must be attached to the application:

– copy of the applicant’s valid identity document;

– for direct users: copy of the invoice referring to the user of the water service owned at the time of the application (the code of the individual user must be legible otherwise the application will be excluded);

– for indirect/aggregate users at the current address of residence: certification from the condominium administrator or condominium representative or the holder of the indirect user reporting the amount of expenditure for water consumption incurred by the applicant in 2023 at the your residential address and the code of the aggregate/condominium user (use the form in attachment “A2” of the application form), accompanied by an identity document of the declaring party;

– certification in case of increased use of water for particular medical conditions (e.g. certificate from the attending physician);

– for citizens of states not belonging to the European Union: a copy of the valid residence permit; in the event that the residence permit has expired, it is necessary to attach to the contribution application the renewal receipt issued within 60 days from the expiry date of the permit itself.

Applications submitted outside the deadlines will not be taken into consideration.
