The Local Police of Crotone reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office two people who were allegedly responsible for the removal of some road signs in the central Via Torino. This was reported in a note from the Municipality. In recent days, a patrol from the Road Police Unit of the Local Police, during some services, detected the absence of the recently placed road signs. The operating officers reported it to the Municipal Authority’s traffic office which immediately took action to restore safety conditions. At the same time, the Judicial Police Section of the Command launched the first investigations aimed at identifying the criminal. Having acquired the footage from the video surveillance cameras of the Crotone Palace of Justice, it was possible to identify two people who, in concert with each other, took care of the dismantling, damage and theft of the road signs.
