There is one mother, but being able to celebrate them all together makes everything more unique. It is in this spirit that, on Saturday 11 May from 4pm at the Massari park, the “Mothers’ Walk” returns, the solidarity walk organized on the eve of “Mother’s Day” by Feshion Eventi and the Ado Foundation, with the support of Uisp and the ‘Public Assistance Association of Ferrara.
The initiative is also sponsored by the Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Ferrara for its charitable purpose. The proceeds will in fact be donated to the Ado Foundation, which for years has been providing high-quality palliative care to people with oncological pathologies or other chronic developmental pathologies in an advanced stage at home, in the clinic and in a guest setting, taking global care of the patient and family.
The walk, characterized by the fuchsia color of the t-shirt that will be given to participants, is open to everyone, even new mothers or future mothers. The organizers have in fact designed a special 5km route which does not involve traveling on cobbled roads or obstacles.
The departure will be from the Massari park in the direction of Casa del Boia, then under the walls you will reach the Torrione di San Giovanni and always return to the park. Upon return, scheduled for approximately 5pm, there will be a moment of refreshment, with entertainment for the little ones organized by the Bosco delle Meraviglie.
The great novelty of this edition of the “Mothers’ Walk” is the “Mom Village” which will be set up in the Massari park. In the village there will be a stand of the Ado Foundation, the preparatory warm-up for the walk will start from 3.45pm, as well as a play area with inflatables, an area dedicated to mother-child workshops (for the cooking one, costing 8 euros, you need to book on Whatsapp at 3495878324) and a space where the “Clown alla Frutta” show will be held, organized by the Circi association. There will also be a Flower set dedicated to a special photo shoot for “Mother’s Day” by the photographer Riccardo Badolato (this can also be booked on Whatsapp at 3495878324).
You can participate by choosing one of the two packages:
– BASIC at a cost of 12 euros including refreshments, a t-shirt and gadgets for the child (rate per adult plus child);
– PLUS (limited availability) at a cost of 25 euros including refreshments, changing table backpack, a t-shirt and gadgets for the child (adult plus child fee).
