From the pensioner to the worker, from the lawyer to the clerk up to psychologists, architects and so on. The candidates of Pensa Perugia, the list in support of Vittoria Ferdinandi which brings together the exponents of Action, Socialists for Perugia, +Europa and Laboratorio civico, were presented on Tuesday at the Sangallo hotel in Perugia. Equality between men and women is perfect (16 for the former and as many for the latter); the youngest is the 24 year old Lorenzo Mazzanti from Azione, among the most active candidates, while the oldest is the former teacher Gaetano Mollo.
Who I am Also on the list (the complete list at the bottom of the article) are the CGIL worker and trade unionist Simona Marchesini, the former municipal secretary of the Democratic Party Francesco Giacopetti for the Democratic Laboratory component, that of the Socialists for Perugia Cesare Carini, nurses such as Andrea Finocchi and Elona Gaxha, the doctors Alessandra Lignani and Floriano Ventura, the architect Luca Tesei, other lawyers such as the 30-year-old Federico Depretis and the 49-year-old Francesco Rossi, the psychologist Maria Elena Rossler and gradually all the others.
Leonelli «Ferdinandi’s program – said the regional coordinator of Azione Giacomo Leonelli – incorporates all the indications on which she engaged with us in February: strategic role of the University, new logic in public transport, public parks, roads and review of the system tax. In the city council we will be a non-ideological and constructive force: this we feel we can guarantee to our fellow citizens.” “It doesn’t bother me to govern a city with someone who has gotten a tattoo, but rather with someone who is at the head of consortiums and important projects such as the stadium of this city” he then said about one of the candidates of Perugia civica, Simone Minestrini , who is among the proponents of the project for the new «Curi».
Ferdinandi «I am deeply convinced – said the mayoral candidate – that having found ourselves with our differences will be the key to success; This is scary and it’s normal for them to try to exploit it. You must be at peace that you have a representative who defends the ideas of our program. I assure you that I don’t want to take away private property from anyone – she laughs – I have been an entrepreneur for 20 years and I know what it means to do business». As for the list “it represents the right mix between generations, where an important role is played by young people who are an integral part of the project, territories and skills”.
Punctures During the presentation there was no lack of some barbs towards the majority. «In recent days – it was said by the leaders of Action – the outgoing and not re-nominated mayor launched an attack on our list, for the simple fact of having created a manifesto on the dilapidated state of the streets of Perugia, in which he stigmatized we are responsible for alleged administrative responsibilities in the 2009-2014 council period which he said was disastrous. Given that the only heirs of that administrative phase who are candidates today are on the centre-right lists, we wanted to underline what our candidates did in 2009″. Ferdinandi instead recalled that on Monday at the meeting called by the Union of Italian Women on the topic of gender identity, the only one absent was Margherita Scoccia: «Not only did she not show up – she said – but she didn’t send any representative to talk about gender identity, they have nothing in the program that talks about integration.” Below we publish all the names on the list.
