Juniores Orvietana: the opponents will be Paganese and the Italian Champions Portici

Triangular playoff with the Campania teams: it starts on Saturday 11th against Portici

The pairings of the first inter-group phase of the National Junior Championship have been defined, which will decide the title of Italian champion. And speaking of the scudetto, it will be the reigning champions Portici (winners in the final last year against Alcione Milano) who will challenge the red and whites next Saturday in Orvieto. The other team is also from Campania and will rest on the first day: Paganese.

This is the regulation:

– The team that will rest on the first day (Paganese) was determined by draw, as was the team that will play the first away match (Portici);

– The team that won the first match or, in case of a draw, the one that played the first away match will rest on the second day;

– On the third day the match will take place between the two teams who have not met previously.

– To determine the winning team, the following will be taken into account in the order: a) the points obtained; b) the best goal difference; c) the greatest number of goals scored; d) the highest number of goals scored away from home; e) the best position in the Disciplinary Cup ranking of the Under 19 National Junior Championship (in this case Orvietana is in the best position of all and Paganese is worst of all).

The dates of this phase: first day Saturday 11th at 4pm, second day Wednesday 22nd and third day Saturday 25th May.

This phase, made up of three triangular matches and two direct clashes, will promote 5 teams to the round of 16, which will be added to the 11 winners of the championship groups, so as to align the scoreboard with the round of 16. There will be a direct elimination.
