EMILIA-ROMAGNA: Culture, the Davide Vignali Award in the Legislative Assembly

The President of the Assembly inaugurates the exhibition set up on the occasion of the 12th edition of the award created in 2011 by Marisa and Doriano Vignali in memory of their son Davide who died prematurely, and promoted by the Modena Arti Visive Foundation

“Comizi d’amor proprio” by Milo Spaggiari (artistic high school of Reggio Emilia), “L’araba phoenix” by Jacopo Verri (Pascal Higher Institute of Reggio Emilia) and “Memory of the past” by Camilla Bondioli (Venturi Higher Institute of Modena ) won respectively the first, second and third prize of the XII edition of the Davide Vignali Prize, the recognition created in 2011 by Marisa and Doriano Vignali in memory of their son Davide who died prematurely, and promoted by the Modena Arti Visive Foundation.

Their works, like those of many of their peers who participated in the Davide Vignali Award, will be exhibited in the Legislative Assembly with the ribbon cutting scheduled for May 7th at 1pm.

Doing the honors were the President of the Legislative Assembly, the president of the Modena Visual Arts Foundation Donatella Pieri and Davide’s parents.

In twelve years of activity, the Davide Vignali Award has involved 1,040 high school students in the Emilia-Romagna region, supporting not only the development of artistic research linked to contemporary images, but also the growth of a broad exchange network between schools, students and teachers.

The exhibition is open to the public until May 17th from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.
