After the extraordinary success of Vinitaly in Verona, the best of Calabria’s food and wine is preparing for Cibus, the International Food Exhibition, a meeting point between institutions, trade associations, companies and Made in Italy agri-food professionals, scheduled from 7 to May 10th next in Parma.

Sixty Calabrian companies are expected at the Parma trade fair, united under the emblem of Extraordinary Calabria, in pavilion 07-08 (Stand D 024, E 024, F 024, F 036), under the direction of the Calabria Region-Agriculture Department, in collaboration with Arsac.

“As the recent edition of Vinitaly has demonstrated once again – comments the regional councilor for Agriculture – our land has so much to offer and tell, to the whole world, in terms of quality and value, in the agri-food sector and this is why that the regional council decided from the beginning to invest with measure and conviction in the growth of the sector”. “Promotion – he adds – is a fundamental aspect in this regard and is a tool to be used in the best possible way, to give space and prestige to excellent productions which are also the emblem of a cutting-edge entrepreneurial system, even more relevant for the contribution that comes from the young generations, committed to witnessing and making the most of Calabria’s enormous potential and resources, also in terms of human resources and talents”.

All to be told also through a series of institutional meetings, events, thematic tables and, in particular, with the cooking shows entrusted to two rigorously Calabrian chefs, Armando Codisposti and Antonella Torcasio, who will alternate in the kitchen – in front of the buyers, the experts of the sector and to the specialized press – to present and enhance, with their recipes, typical products and dishes of Calabria.
