First two appointments, May 11th and 19th, of High Volume Springthe event which sees the courtyards of the most fascinating historic homes in Cremona as well as the prestigious Casa Stradivari become the setting for unmissable chamber music concerts, which will act as a spring spin-off of the concert season of the Ponchielli Theatre.
On Saturday 11 May it will be the turn of the Pavia Cello Academy Quartet, who will perform at 6pm at Palazzo Guazzoni-Zaccaria. The artists will perform music by J. Deswert, P. Warlock, A.Tansman, R. Wagner, L. Forino, A. Piatti.
On Sunday 12 May – again at 6pm – the trio of I Solisti di Pavia will be at Casa Stradivari, who will perform songs by WA Mozart.
The exhibition, an integral part of the Io S(U)ono Sud Lombardia project, was born from the desire to connect a territory by launching cultural “bridges” and addressing a large audience. The project is also an opportunity to valorise numerous young musicians, coming from the most prestigious musical training institutions in southern Lombardy; this year it will be the turn of the Pavia Cello Academy which will participate with its students in the first concert of the event.
