Nemapress from Alghero at the Turin Book Fair

The Alghero publishing house will be present in the Institutional Stand of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia where Neria De Giovanni will present her latest book “Europe, a Goddess, a Continent” and will participate in the debate on publishing animated by ESI-Editori Sardi Indipendenti, in her capacity as vice-president .

At the next Turin International Book Fair, scheduled at Lingotto from 9 to 13 May, Nemapress editions of Alghero will be present as always in the Institutional Stand of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, PAD 2 K114-L113.

«At the next Turin Salon we will bring books and authors who embody our mission which has always intended to create a bridge between writers from the island and those from the peninsula – states Neria De Giovanni, editorial manager of Nemapress – In particular on Sunday 12 May Claudia Origoni, grandson of the great artist Lia Origoni of La Maddalena, will be introduced by the journalist Evi Spedicato for her novel “Non escludo il return”, a cold case that investigates the murder of a girl that actually took place in Sardinia in the twenties which the writer reconstructs and reveals also making use of scientific techniques.

Neria De Giovanni will present her latest book “Europe, a Goddess, a Continent” and will participate in the debate on publishing animated by ESI-Editori Sardi Indipendenti, in her capacity as vice-president. Among the Nemapress Sardinian authors, Alessandra Derriu’s books will also be on display and for sale at the Sardinia Stand, including the latest “Magia in Sardinia, stories between the 19th and 20th centuries”; the volume by Antonio Budruni “Grazia Deledda literary plagiarism”, the studies by Massimiliano Fois including “Antoine Saint Exupery in Alghero” for the 80th anniversary of “The Little Prince” and “Incontri”, the latest book by Pasqualina Deriu, teacher Sardinian who lives in Milan.

Among the authors of the so-called Continent, Elisabetta Strickland “The Mothers of Ideas, Women Scientists and the Nobel Prize”, already a guest on several television programs including Millelibri on Rai1 and Francesca Brezzi with “The Path of Sofia”, essays on the philosophy of women.
