BERGAMO – Michaela Mlejnková is ready to land in Bergamo. And he brings with him a wealth of experience and trophies won in Europe, from France to Germany, from the Czech Republic to Greece: the scudetto in France with Le Cannet, the Cup and Super Cup in Germany with Stuttgart and finally the Cup in Greece with Olympiacos, just a few weeks ago.
The spiker born on 26 July 1996 is the captain of the Czech national team, with which she won a gold medal in the European Golden League, two silver medals and a bronze in the FIVB Challenger Cup and in the Golden League.
“The Italian one has always been the championship of my dreams – confesses – the one I always wanted to play. Together with the Turkish one, it is one of the best, probably the best. Bergamo made me an offer that I couldn’t say no to: here I find a club with a great history, a great city, a super coach and the top Italian championship. Everything I was looking for”.
Mlejnková, having finished her adventure in the Greek championship with the Olympiacos shirt, coming close to winning the championship, got to work with her national team. “But I can’t wait to come to you. I’m curious to know the environment and the fans. And to make myself known: you will see that I am as calm off the pitch as I am on the pitch, instead of showing my emotions…”.
