The highly anticipated spring event with the “Night of Museums” is back, scheduled this year on Saturday 18 May: for the occasion, the museum itinerary of the Santa Maria della Scala, the National Archaeological Museum and the Giuliano Briganti Library will remain open in via extraordinary until midnight.
At Home – Santa Maria della Scala, on the occasion of the “Museum Night”, at 9.30 pm it will be possible to take part in the free guided tour of the “Book Object. International Biennial of Artist and Design Books – Special Edition Siena” which features 4 installations, 46 artist, hybrid and design books, 25 of which enriched by augmented reality, plus some books from the Librartis Collection of the Briganti Library . Furthermore, on May 18th it will be possible, upon reservation, to take part in one of the two free guided tours of the Santa Maria della Scala waterways, which will leave at 7pm and 9pm.
