The now traditional appointment with ‘BimbimBICI’ returns to Quartu Sant’Elena on Sunday 19 May 2024.
Children is the national event, now in its 25th edition, organized by FIAB (Italian Environment and Bicycle Federation) to promote sustainable mobility and spread the use of bicycles among young and very young people. This year, for the second consecutive year, Bimbimbici will be held in Quartu Sant’Elena, Sunday 19 May 2024. In Cagliari it will be held on Sunday 12 May 2024. There pedalingin which children and teenagers can take part, provided they are accompanied by parents or adultswill take place in complete safety thanks to the collaboration with the Municipal Police of the Municipality of Quartu Sant’Elena and will wind through the main streets of Sardinia’s third largest city.
Bimbimbici wants to urge the community to make a general reflection on the needs of create green areas and cycle paths to encourage daily cycling by young people and adults, especially on home-school and home-work routes.
