At the final whistle the gates to the various sectors of the facility open wide and the uncontainable party, which showers affection on Patron Lazzaretti, mister Serpini and all the footballers, moves to Piazza Martiri under the clock tower. Only late at night stops the horns of a city that, after three years of post-bankruptcy reconstruction, is ready to return to enjoying the fields of Italian professionalism.
SHIELD POULE – The sports season does not end with winning the championship. Carpi, together with all the other eight winners of the Serie D groups, will take part in the Poule Scudetto which will decide the world championship team of the fourth series. The red and whites, included in the three-man group formed by Pianese and from Campobasso, to access the last act they will have to qualify first or, alternatively, be the best second. A tasty dessert for a truly incredible season.
