In Agrigento the Police sanctioned the owners of three businesses, two in the city and one in the seaside village of San Leone, because they were caught selling alcohol to minors. Again in San Leone, a minor was reported to the Prefecture as a drug user because he was caught with a few grams of narcotic substance in his pocket. Another had his scooter seized because he had no insurance. Finally, a person with a police record was found and his probation was aggravated with the alternative measure of home-work. He was transferred to the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto prison.
And the policemen of the Sciacca police station have served the “exit notice” from Sciacca with a ban on re-entry for the next three years to four Romanians, two residents of the Catania area and the other two in Palermo. The first two were caught in possession of goods stolen from the shelves of a supermarket. The other two, however, did not answer the question as to why they were in Sciacca.
