For Italian show jumping looking to Piazza di Siena 2024one of the most important equestrian competitions in the world, the die is cast. The Italian Equestrian Sports Federation has in fact announced the list of those called up for the Roman event, which will be held in spectacular setting of Villa Borghese from May 22nd to 26th.
There will be 5 pairs who will be part of the team that will compete for the Nations Cup, scheduled for Friday 24 May from 2.30 pmwhile another 10 will be competing individually, with finally another 12 pairs registered to participate in the other races of the event.
Below is the complete list of those selected by Team leader Marco Porro: within the 5 chosen pairs the names of certainly stand out Giulia Martinengo Marquet, who had obtained the call for the event by winning the Italian Championships, and those of Lorenzo De Luca and Giacomo Casadei, the latter very busy at an international level with the Global Champions League and the Global Champions Tour: Emanuele Gaudiano, however, will be competing but on an individual basis.
