The Cadets of Atletica Alta Toscana all improved their personal best in the third round of the club championships held in Pistoia, proof of good condition and good training. Daniel Uwamanam achieved an excellent time of 17″ 9 in the 150 meters while in the 300 hurdles he finished eighth overall in 44″ 9. Giacomo Leverotti’s 9″9 was also excellent in the 80 meters while he ran the 150 in 18″5. Double efforts for Lorenzo Nebiu (10″9 in the 80 meters and 19″8 in the 150 meters) and Matteo Neagu (11″4 in the 80 meters and 20″08 in the 150 meters) while the debutant Federico Acquafresca ran the 80 meters in 11″7.
The middle distance runners Filippo Fico (3″25), Luca Manfredi (3″28) and Giacomo Mazzei (3″32) did their personal best in the 1000 meters. In the women’s field, Giulia Andreuccetti stood out in the 80 meters, achieving a nice 10″9 and jumping 4.32 meters in the long run. Giulia Barotti and Giulia Azioni competed on the same fronts: 12″43 and 12″7 for the 80 meters, 3.66 and 3.44 meters for the jumps.
The Cadets will compete on May 18th at the school camp in Massa with a part of the athletes who will be in Pisa for the second test of the CSI.
