Bari-Matera and Altamura-Avigliano Lucania: regional allocation for the Fal lines

The Council has entered in the budget 35,090,000.00 euros from the resources referred to in the decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport n. 182 of 04/29/2020 intended for the Appulo Lucane Railways for interventions aimed at the technological equipment of the Bari – Matera and Altamura – Avigliano Lucania lines, in order to increase railway safety.

Considering that, with the issuing of Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 26 October 2023, the legal obligation in favor of the Puglia Region has been completed, connected to the implementation of interventions on the infrastructure of regional railway lines not interconnected to the national network, for the total amount of Euro 35,090,000.00, the Council approved a change to the 2024 and multi-year budget forecasts for 2024-2026.

The following interventions will thus be financed: doubling of the Palo del Colle Grumo Appula section prog. km 17+081 + 21+616 with €21,030,000.00; renewal of the Altamura – Marinella route. progr. km48+345 ÷ 60+422 (Bari – Matera line) with €10,400,000.00; renewal of the Bari Centrale – Bari Scalo section km 0+000 ÷ 1+809 (Bari – Matera line), €1,020,000.00; renewal of the railway plan – Gravina station progr. km 11+710 (Altamura – Avigliano Lucania line), €1,350,000.00; renewal of the railway plan – Marinella station progr. km 60+422 (Bari – Matera line), €1,290,000.00.
