Fabriano – Significant public appreciation for the celebrations of the 310th birthday of the Marquis Del Grillo. To attract the numerous spectators, in addition to the performance of the Roman comedian Alberto Farina, directly from Colorado and Only Fun, the brand new format of the comedy contest “Te stamo a cercà!” led by the artistic director Dario Cassini, which saw around 20 young emerging talents from north to south Italy compete.

In the two-day event, hundreds also attended the exhibition “Images, costumes and history of the Marquis”, which will remain open over the next weekends within the beautiful setting of the Oratorio Della Carità from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm . An exhibition that is receiving great appreciation from the many fans of the cult film starring Alberto Sordi. There are over fifty stage photographs, shots donated by the daughter of the photographer Enrico Appetito, and four iconic dresses granted by the historic Peruzzi tailoring shop in Rome.
Furthermore, many onlookers attended Palazzo Del Podestà for the historical conference dedicated to the figure of Onofrio Del Grillo (1714-1787), originally from Fabriano and Roman by adoption, and for the cinematographic round table in which the figure of director Mario Monicelli, with anecdotes and behind the scenes of the film.
