A startup, Vivid Srl, founded by the Terni entrepreneur Tiziano Sironi who focuses entirely on the nutritional properties of camel milk. In particular, the company patented the first nutraceutical supplement: «All this – explains Sironi – because camel milk has unique properties, many and all concentrated. These properties have led to it being defined as ‘the white gold of the desert’.” This milk – reports the company note – «is rich in iron, vitamins B and C and proteins. It is known for its pharmacological properties, useful against diabetes and allergies, it is also used as an aphrodisiac. This type of milk is more nutritious than cow’s milk and contains an amino acid that helps brain relaxation. It also contains more than 200 proteins, some of which are present only in it. Studies – continues the owner of Vivid Srl – have also shown that camel milk helps to lower blood sugar levels and is free of the two proteins that cause lactose allergies. What makes it unique is its absence of lactoglobulin, the main whey protein from cows and sheep’s milk that is often associated with intolerances. Furthermore, the content of vitamin C, vitamin B3, folic acid, vitamin B12 and B5 exceeds that present in cow’s milk and even breast milk.” Also and above all, Tiziano Sironi’s idea was born from here, to create a supplement capable of containing substances and related benefits of camel milk, spreading it on a large scale.
