While his Pisa has, in fact, ended his season 90′ before the end of the regular Serie B season, missing the playoff objective, the sporting director of the Tuscan club Stefano Stefanellimade some statements to SportChannel regarding the playoff sprint that will start tomorrow in Serie C to assign the last pass for the 2024/2025 Serie B:
“It’s difficult to say who the surprise will be, the playoffs are a championship apart. The important thing will be to keep your concentration high, the second-placed teams don’t play for several days, the others take to the field almost immediately. But Avellino, Vicenza, Padova and Benevento have something more. Avellino has all it takes to get to the bottom, they are strong in all departments, they have an important attack, but in the playoffs details and condition make the difference.”
