Gerry Scotti, the host who always manages to reinvent himself while always remaining true to himself, returns to the small screen with one of the most iconic games on Italian TV: Wheel of Fortune. Virgino Scotti, this is his real name, talks about himself in an interview in which he talks about Sanremo and his future to Mediaser.
Meanwhile we start this evening, Monday 6 May at 6.45pm, on channel 5 with the new edition wanted by Mediaset on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mike Bongiorno (26 May 1924), and with the presenter that Mike himself has defined several times his television heir. Here we go.

The OK for Sanremo
«I believe that none of my colleagues have spent all these years within the same television company – concluded Gerry Scotti -. Mediaset has already told me that I can easily do the Sanremo Festival. Because when there is a serious proposal from my editor in the person of Piersilvio Berlusconi, he has already told me that in that case he would certainly give me permission. The fact is that so far I have never received a serious proposal, so I have never had to ask permission, simple as that. On the time I gave myself? Well Vianello led it at 76, so there is time.”
