Starting from tomorrow, Tuesday 7 May, and until Monday 3 June, it will be possible to submit an application for the two Overall and Community Territories tenders valid for the three-year period 2024-26, for which the Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì Foundation has offered disposal of the territory 510,000 and 900,000 euros respectively, for a total investment of more than 1 million and 400,000 euros.

OVERALL NOTICE

The call, now in its third edition, is aimed at private non-profit organizations that have as their primary and direct activity characterized by social-healthcare and social-welfare assistance purposes and aims to support the already consolidated territorial network (local authorities , third sector, proximity networks) in the creation of a mix of interventions that can concretely contribute to the quality of life of the elderly, enhancing their autonomy, freedom and skills.

Interventions and projects that enhance:

  • respect for individual freedoms and autonomy, while promoting the function of sociality and the community network,
  • the presence of inclusive and accessible spaces and places,
  • the co-planning of the services and routes offered,
  • the strengthening and valorisation of the skills – human and relational, as well as professional – of operators and volunteers,
  • the dynamism and adaptability of the proposals to the context,
  • the importance of intergenerational relationships,
  • the use of new technologies.

Given the overall allocation made available by the Foundation for the “OverAll” tender in the three-year period 2024-2026 of 510,000 euros, the contribution for the individual project proposals presented cannot in any case exceed 60% of the overall expenditure forecast deemed eligible, up to a maximum amount of €60,000 for three-year projects.

If the project network and the contents of the proposal are deemed particularly worthy as well as when the particularities of the community context highlight the need for greater attention, the Foundation may raise the maximum co-financing percentage to 75%, up to a maximum amount of €37,500 per three-year projects.

NOTICE OF COMMUNITY TERRITORIES

The call, now in its eighth edition, is aimed at private non-profit organizations and aims to offer children and young people – aged 6 to 18 – space and time, a sense of belonging, stimuli for participation and protagonism, with particular reference to:

  • creation of a stable, articulated, shared and continuous offer for children and young people, giving organicity and fluidity to the proposals, whether recreational, educational or training;
  • development of inclusive activities, within which children/young people can feel free to explore their potential, discover and orient their aptitudes;
  • support for educational and training courses aimed not only at enhancing learning and scholastic skills, but which look at all-round well-being, thanks also to a coordinated commitment on the part of all local resources (schools, public services, other educational bodies and agencies);
  • stimulus to forms of participation, active citizenship, volunteering, starting from the same contexts of which they are beneficiaries and in connection with other realities (formal and otherwise) active in these territories;
  • support and accompaniment for better dialogue and discussion between children and adults – in particular parents and teachers/teachers/educators, also offering training opportunities – as well as with the elderly, with a view to intergenerational relationships that can represent only a tool for social cohesion, but to offer opportunities in terms of knowledge, active citizenship, solidarity, transmission of cultural heritage.

The overall allocation made available for the “Community Territories” tender in the three-year period 2024-2026 is, as anticipated, 900,000 euros. The main object of the co-financing by the Foundation is the activity carried out by the educators, for which the contribution can be assigned up to a maximum percentage of 40% of the overall cost expected in the three-year period, with an amount that cannot in any case exceed €105,000.

If the project network and the contents of the proposal are deemed particularly worthy as well as when the particularities of the community context highlight the need for greater attention – the Foundation may evaluate the possibility of conferring an element of reward by raising the maximum co-financing percentage to 75% of the overall forecast of expenditure deemed eligible, up to a maximum amount of €37,500 for three-year projects.

For this edition of the Call, a line of action is finally proposed which has not yet been activated but which is still considered valid and current. As part of the overall proposal presented by each subject/network, a further project idea may in fact be developed which has as its object places and actions conceived by the children, created by and for the children (in particular in the 15-18 age group) through which:

  • encourage their active and conscious participation, stimulating them to identify needs and issues, offering the opportunity to identify and propose paths and solutions that can contribute to their growth process in terms of personal, relational/group skills and in terms of participation in community life;
  • promote and expand civic commitment and active citizenship, promoting the values ​​of “doing together”, the “common good” and volunteering;
  • stimulate dialogue with the adult world so that the latter can more effectively carry out its function of accompanying growth;
  • support – particularly in internal, hilly and mountainous areas – community activation paths, also by developing innovative community management models for goods and services.

THE TERRITORIAL SCOPE

For both calls, the requesting body (or lead partner) must have its legal and/or operational headquarters in the Foundation’s territory of intervention, and must have been established for at least 2 years on the date of submission of the request. The project actions must in turn take place in the Foundation’s reference territory.

CONTROL ROOM

During the previous editions of the two calls for tenders, an essential function of “transversal action/control room” was progressively consolidated, which managed to involve numerous realities, encouraging the listening and reading of needs, the networking of ideas, resources and actions. The Foundation intends to confirm its support for this role and it is expected that the control room will develop and present a project proposal following the assignment of the contributions. As with the other project proposals, there may be a phase of comparison and “refinement” of the tools and strategies conducted in collaboration with the Foundation: but in consideration of the significant function carried out for the benefit of all the projects and more generally of the community, the contribution may be granted up to a maximum of 100% of the overall estimated expenditure deemed eligible. The exact amount will be defined in mutual agreement with the Foundation.

METHODS AND DEADLINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS

The project proposals for both calls must be submitted using exclusively the specific online procedure accessible from the Foundation’s institutional website from 9.00 am on 7 May 2024 to 1.00 pm on 3 June 2024. Applications received at different times or with methods different from those indicated above will not be admitted.
