SSerena Brancale and Simone Grandewinner of the second edition of The Voice Kids, will be the guests of honor at the Talent Voice awards ceremony of the “Umberto Giordano” national musical competition 2024. The event will be held on May 17th at the Giordano Theater in Foggia, starting from 7pm.

Born with the aim of creating opportunities for cultural and musical growth in Foggia by focusing on young people and their talent, the renowned contest is organized by the “Suoni del Sud” Association and makes use of the collaboration of the Municipality of Foggia – Department of Culture, of the Umberto Giordano Theatre, the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, the Musicalia Foundation, the Monti Uniti Foundation of Foggia and the 10 cum laude Award.

The announcement of the winners of the Talent Voice – modern singing section “Gino Sannoner Award” will close the five days in which the XVI edition of the Giordano Competition takes place, which will start on May 13th at the Teatro del Fuoco.

At the end of April, Serena Brancale selected the 41 finalists who will perform in front of the jury chaired by Tosca Donati and completed by Lorenzo Ciuffredaartistic director of the Giordano Competition, and by Gianni Cuciniellopresident of the contest and manager of Suoni del Sud.

The selected competitors are: Lucia Arciuolo, Asia Bavaro, Valentina Carretta, Alessia Cirella, Luca Colucci, Sofia Knower, Elena Cozzo, Marisabel De Marco, Francesca De Lucia, Maria Giovanna Di Benedetto, Luciana Di Lecce, Rebecca Maria di Rienzo, Nicole Falcone, Stefano Fascia, Rita Ferrante, Giulia Firpo, Michele Gentile, Giada Grasso, Ilaria Iorio, Aurora La Torre, Gaia Mallardi, Giulia Marinaro, Annalaura Marseglia, Alessia Mastrolonardo, Rebecca Mele, Benedetta Mezzina, Fabiana Miticocchio, Francesca Misuriello, Rita Orteca, Nicoletta Panarese, Michael Perinelli , Maria Pia Pennacchia, Sophia Renna, Fabio Rubino, Antonella Pia Savino, Francesca Scarano, Giulia Maria Semeraro, Alessia Sgobbio, Ilaria Rita Saltarelli, Ascenza Lorusso and Antonio Pio Ruggiero.

Simone Grande will also be on stage on Friday 17 May. After Melissa Agliottone, winner of the first edition of the talent show hosted by Antonella Clerici and Italy’s representative at the last Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Lorenzo Ciuffreda also managed to bring the first place winner of the second edition of The Voice Kids to Foggia. The eleven-year-old from Rozzano, in the province of Milan, competed in the team Clementinewho had chosen him by listening to him sing “L’Essenziale” by Marco Mengoni. In the final, after performing “All By Myself”, it is with “Adagio” by Lara Fabian that the very young performer definitively won over the studio audience who decreed his victory.

Brancale, a very talented singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is enjoying considerable success with her single “Baccalà”, will also hold a pop singing masterclass on May 18th in the Sala Fedora del Giordano. Participation will be free for the winners of the Talent Voice.

The selections on May 17th will begin at 9.30 in the morning. Entrance to the theater is free, subject to availability.
