Via Balduccio da Pisa is one of those streets that would fall into oblivion if it were not in the lively neighborhood located between Symbiosis, Scalo Romana and Vigentino. Industrial warehouses, “small buildings” and warehouses dotted the former industrial area, until the arrival of the Prada Foundation, the change of use of the entire area south of the railway yard and the choice to build buildings there to house the committees and teams for winter olympics 2026.
So here are some construction sites in the execution phase in the small street of Vigentino.
BALDUCCIO DA PISA 7
Let’s start with the construction site for the demolition of the office building in via Balduccio da Pisa 7. Nothing has been made official yet, but the real estate developer FCMA has included on the website this beautiful 15-storey building to be built in the next few years designed by Studio Asti Architetti. It may still be under approval.

BALDUCCIO DA PISA 12
We continue a few meters to stumble upon the construction site via Balduccio da Pisa 12. Work began a few weeks ago to prepare the construction site for the construction of the new residential building designed by GA&PARTNERS + DVA – DVision Architecture. A complex made up of two towers of 13 and 9 floors above ground arranged in an L surrounded by a communal garden.

Always in via Balduccio from Pisa, but at 15, reclamation and strip-out works are underway at the old industrial complex that has been present here for decades. In its place, a new office complex with futuristic shapes designed by the studio will take shape Be.St Stefano Belingardi Clusoni Architect.

Cia Balduccio from Pisa 16 is still an embryonic construction site. At the moment we haven’t been able to find out much. Also in this case it is the conversion of an industrial building into something else.

TALL MILAN

SNAM HEADQUARTERS
In the background of Via Balduccio da Pisa stands the now imposing silhouette of the office tower which will be the new headquarters of SNAM. This is the construction site located on the corner between via Condino and via Vezza d’Oglio, within the Symbiosis office district, with a total surface area of approximately 19,000 m2, the building will be the new SNAM headquarters, composed of three volumes overlapping articulated for 14 floors. This is a project by the architecture firm Piuarch.
