The Ex Oliveti construction site restarts. In the 2025/2026 school year: 22 new classrooms for Forlì high schools
After an interruption of a few months, the report for the resumption of the seismic adaptation works of the Ex Oliveti di Forlì school building in via M. Buonarroti, owned by the Province of Forlì – Cesena, was signed on Thursday 2 May. The works, for a total investment of €4,375,609.84, will resume in the next few days.
In fact, the construction site had been suspended due to the judicial liquidation of the parent company of the Temporary Group of Companies which had been awarded the contract. The principals, Technologica srl of Predappio and F.lli Franchini srl of Rimini, have however decided to continue the contracting relationship with the provincial administration, as required by the Contract Code, reconstituting themselves as RTI.
The works will last 13 months and will make it possible to make 20 classrooms and 4 laboratories available to secondary schools in the city of Forlì for the 2025-2026 school year.
This is a work of strategic importance for the city, through which twenty-two new classrooms and three laboratories will be introduced into the high school system. Thanks go to the private executing companies whose willingness to complete the works of the contract was decisive in avoiding a construction site stoppage which would have jeopardized the delivery of the property in time for the start of the school year . 2025/2026. For the provincial administration this is a very important result which confirms the organisation’s commitment to guaranteeing adequate teaching spaces for high school students and school staff
