The passion for cycling reached epic levels yesterday in the picturesque town of Breyant of Saint-Pierre, during the first stage of the Grand Prix Giovanissimi 2024, an unmissable event organized by the Bike Team Diavoli Sarre. More than 220 young cyclists put on a show, demonstrating their talent and ability on two wheels.

Among the competing companies, Gs Lupi Valle d’Aosta shone with an exceptional performance, taking the top step of the podium with a total of 768 points, followed by the Orange Bike Team with 512 points and the Rdr Sport School with 466 points. It was a collective triumph that paid tribute to the dedication and preparation of the athletes and coaches involved.

On an individual level, the day was marked by names that will remain etched in the annals of the competition. Among the athletes who have left their mark, we remember Coralie Collé, Mathias Bandito, Maeline Lazier, Mathis Marchi, Maggie Colliard, Yannick Bosonin, Marta Rizzo, Julien Marchi, Amélie Berlier, Filippo Grosso, Aurora Lecca and Ilan Bianquin.

In the younger categories, talent manifested itself in all its splendor. Coralie Collé of Cs Lys triumphed in the women’s G1 competition, followed by Ginevra Montrosset of Team Benato and Amélie Bal of Rdr Sport School. In the men’s field, Mathias Bandito of the Rdr Sport School took the victory, followed by Richard Ferrod of Team Benato and Tommaso Montaldo of the Orange Bike Team.

The competition was equally exciting in subsequent categories, with victories confirming the diversity and excellence of the youth cycling scene. From G2 to G6, the athletes gave their all, demonstrating commitment, determination and extraordinary talent.

In particular, the double of Vtt Arnad with Maggie Colliard and Lisa Dublanc in the G3 category left the public speechless, while the performances of Marta Rizzo of Gs Lupi and Julien Marchi of the Orange Bike Team demonstrated once again the strength and talent of the young promises of the Aosta Valley.

The 2024 Youth Grand Prix was much more than just a cycling competition; it was a tribute to the passion, sacrifice and determination of the athletes, coaches and enthusiasts who made this extraordinary event possible. Looking to the future, we can’t help but be excited about what the world of youth cycling has to offer, knowing that these young talents will continue to inspire and amaze for years to come.
