A heavy accusation made against Mrs. Ceccarelli and her partner Fabio Merisi, who had ended up in prison for extortion and stalking aggravated by the mafia method. Several months ago, in fact, the neighbors had sued the woman and her husband (defended by the lawyer Daniele Calipa of the Palmi bar) following a dispute that had resulted in neighborhood issues.
The matter had been quelled by the timely intervention of the police, who had invited the lady to go to the hospital to treat the injuries sustained from the previous clash also because the alleged offended people had first started a fight (even with the use of a knife) in front of numerous witnesses.
The affair even gave rise to criminal proceedings initiated at the Criminal Court of Reggio Calabria – DDA section. In prison, the woman explained – together with her trusted defender Daniele Calipa – all the dynamics to the judge for the preliminary investigations and following the outcome of the interrogation, she was released from prison. The request presented in the interest of Mr. FabioMerisi is still awaiting a response.
