Thousands of people from Brindisi attended the Festival in the Park on May 1st and beyond. In the splendid and welcoming green area of Cillarese there are also families and groups of friends and groups coming from the province of the Adriatic capital and from other cities in the Apulian hinterland such as Lecce, Taranto, Bari and the area of the Bat province.
A real success in Brindisi for the second act of the Brindisi Easter Monday organized by Maestro Carmine Iaia in agreement with the ASCR Uniti per lo Sport associations, with the patronage of the Municipality of Brindisi for which the organizers thank the mayor Giuseppe Marchionna and the ‘Councillor for Territorial Marketing Luciano Loiacono. The event, for which no financial contribution was requested from the Municipal Administration, gave the city, once again, a day of joy, yet another demonstration of the commitment of the creator whose aims remain those of identifying moments of celebration and aggregation that make Brindisi an attractive location, first of all, to allow those who live there to stay in their own city rather than looking for entertainment elsewhere and to offer, to those coming from outside, a valid alternative to other destinations in the area.
Many families invaded the “19 May 2012” Park (known precisely as Parco Cillarese) enjoying an open-air picnic with the food stands and allowing the children to participate in the great caravan of fun made up of attractions such as carousels and inflatable structures to vent your desire for outdoor activity and fun.
In this second part of the great spring festival in Brindisi, the sporting experiences donated by the activities of the Brindisi clubs of the ASCR Uniti per lo Sport who made their experience available to those present, inviting them to admire and then also to try, were of great impact. the fantastic world of boxing with the Boxe Iaia of the teacher Carmine Iaia, that of the bounces of the balls of the Asd Bubble Football Brindisi of the President Luigi Ungaro, or of Artistic Gymnastics with the Gymnastics La Rosa of the teacher Barbara Spagnolo, the technical bases and all the fun of Volleyball with the Asd Koru Brindisi of the Teacher Titty Spinelli, the charm of the most famous Argentine dance with the Street Tango of the maestro Alessandro De Virgilio, the varied world of body building with the Palestra Big of the President Maria Corsa, the noble taste of the challenge with the Brindisi Fencing Club of maestro Antonio Muraglia, the liberating world of dance with La maison de la danse of teachers Annalisa and Maristella Monaco.
