Yesterday afternoon the police intervened near via Colleverde following a report that a dog had been stolen a few days ago in Bologna and identified by the owners in the area. Once the police arrived on site, they identified the two applicants: they were a couple, she, Italian, aged around 30, and he, of foreign origin, aged around 35. The two were near a park there and with them there was a third man, of Tunisian origin, about 36 years old. In particular, when the Volante police arrived, the scene that presented itself was this: the 35-year-old man was holding the arm of the other man who appeared with wounds on his hands.

The 35-year-old reported that a few days earlier, in Bologna, he had entrusted his dog to the 36-year-old Tunisian man, an acquaintance of his, who however had lost track of himself by taking the animal with him. The man’s version was also confirmed by the woman, who appeared in tears and worried. Meanwhile, in consideration of the superficial wounds that the 36-year-old had on his hands, the police requested the intervention of healthcare personnel on site, however, the subject refused any treatment. The woman also claimed that the dog was inside an apartment located in the area and therefore the police decided to go to the indicated house. Inside the apartment they made contact with a woman who told them that a few days earlier the 36-year-old (an acquaintance of the woman and a friend of her husband) had shown up at her door and requested hospitality from the couple, bringing a large dog with him. , reporting that he was no longer able to take care of it and stating that he had found the dog in a state of abandonment. The police actually found the dog described inside the apartment, so they decided to pick it up and take it to the woman who had requested their intervention who immediately recognized it as hers. The veterinary services were thus also alerted in order to achieve more precise identification of the animal via microchip. The woman also reported to the police that, together with her husband, they had filed a formal complaint in Bologna and, when asked by the police why she was in the Doric capital, the woman reported that after having posted the announcement of the disappearance of her dog on Facebook she was contacted by a man who told her that he had recognized the dog and that it was in Ancona. Therefore the woman and her partner, by train, reached the capital in order to find and bring the animal back to Bologna. The dog was thus entrusted to the legitimate owner and requesting couple for the intervention, while the 36 year old was accompanied to the offices in via Gervasoni and here released in a state of freedom for the crime of misappropriation ex art. 646 cp
