VITTORIO VENETO – THEThe Democratic Party of Vittorio Veneto presented yesterday, Saturday 3 May, its list of councilor candidates for the local elections on 8-9 June. During the presentation, the secretary of the city club Fabio Braido underlined two important innovations that characterize the Democratic Party list.
“First of all, the Democratic Party promoted the initiative that led to the creation of the centre-left coalition in Vittorio Veneto, a significant innovation compared to the last electoral round. Furthermore, generous support was given to the civic mayor candidate, Mirella Balliana. This decision demonstrates the desire to overcome group or personal interests to focus on proposals, projects and concrete actions for the city”. “It is with satisfaction and pride that we present our candidates today, ready to carry forward our unitary city project . I thank all of you for your support and for being here today,” the secretary said. “Let us remember that the future of the city is in our hands. Let’s go and vote en masse and this time we will vote well.”
Subsequently, the secretary gave the floor to Andrea Martella, regional secretary of the Democratic Party and Senator, who declared: “A good team, full of skills and political passion, a good atmosphere and a lot of commitment in view of the next local elections.” The presentation concluded with the speech of the mayoral candidate, Mirella Balliana, who thanked the Democratic Party Club for the support it guaranteed, underlining the strength and competitiveness of the centre-left coalition.
