It’s a clash between Action And Joseph Farris in view of Cagliari municipal elections 2024. Tensions escalated on Saturday 4 May as the two sides hurled heated accusations at each other.
Mayoral candidate Farris had criticized the move of Calenda’s party from Massimo Zedda to Alessandra Zedda. A little appreciated rebuke, which saw the arrival of a note within a few hours.
“The moral that the lawyer Giuseppe Farris tries to make seems more like a desperate attempt at media visibility than a real political reasoning. It hides a total absence of ideas and content.”
In the second part of the note, Action then gets personal. “Farris would in fact do well to deal with his political history, dotted with continuous assignments from various sides. The fact that in the past he attempted in every way to climb to the top of political power, but failed, in no way justifies his anti-democratic bitterness.”
Quickly, Farris responded. Recalling the work carried out in recent months, he once again pointed out how the agreement between Action and Alessandra Zedda is exclusively electoral.
“The agreement is only for electoral reasons. Having just today the Northern League candidate herself confirmed that only now can they start discussing the program. I would like to reassure Action, distracted by looking for a space, casually switching from one mayoral candidate to another. They don’t know that in five months we have listened to over 10 thousand people from Cagliari and held referendums. All issues that their candidate is clumsily trying to copy.”
