Excellent response to the “Bonomo” of Andria for World Midwife Day

Great success and attention at the “Lorenzo Bonomo” hospital in Andria on the occasion of World Midwifery Day, during which the Obstetrics and Gynecology operational unit present in the city hospital and directed by Dr. Beniamino Casalino, organized the day of May 4th two important information and prevention initiatives.

During the morning, meetings and complete visits were held, including ultrasound on the rehabilitation of the pelvic floor: over 50 participants while around ten patients underwent evaluation of the pelvic floor and gynecological examination complete with pelvic ultrasound. We remind you that to take part in this initiative it was necessary to book in advance at the department telephone number.

Instead, from 10.30 to 12.30 a meeting dedicated to pregnant women was held during which information was provided on nutrition during pregnancy, breastfeeding and newborn massage.

A large and satisfactory response to participation which, given the success of the event, could be repeated.
