MARTINSICURO. The Truentino Municipality closes the 2023 budget with a surplus of over two million euros. This is what emerged from the city council meeting on April 30th in which the 2023 financial statement was approved in just over 30 minutes with the opposition abstaining. «Document that marks another milestone», the comment of the finance councilor Alduino Tommolini«in the development of the city: it ends, in fact, with an available administrative surplus equal to the historic figure of two million and 323 thousand euros, more than doubling the already historic administrative surplus of over one million euros recorded at the end 2022. The size of the Cash Fund”, the numbers listed by Tommolini, “goes from around 7 million at the end of 2021 to around 8 in 2022, reaching the figure of over 17 million at the end of 2023, effectively more than doubling the consistency present at the beginning of 2023. The total assets of the balance sheet go from around 58 million at the end of 2021 to around 60 in 2022, until it grows and exceeds the threshold of 72 million (to be precise 72,758,251.78) at the end of 2023. Investment spending (on capital account) goes from around 2.6 million at the end of 2021 to around 2.7 at 2022, reaching 4,257,993.64 euros at the end of 2023. An investment expenditure that we will be able to to support ourselves better thanks to these additional over two million which are added to the other reserves that we have established in our budget in recent years to guarantee these expenses”.
For Tommolini «this report is the point of arrival, probably the highest peak, of a long work of managing the finances of our Municipality which began in 2017 at the time of my first mandate as councilor for budget and finance, which has brought step step by step to make the Martinsicurese budget the main strong point around which to build the development of our town”.
