“I bring my experience to Brussels”

“First of all, the defense budgets must be united to spend resources better, then we must get the healthcare ESM back because in Italy we need 38 billion to finance our healthcare and finally create a Europe as united as possible, given that the more fragile we are, the more we remain isolated.” Thus Carlo Calenda, leader of Action, who stopped in the Marche region, in Fano to present Massimo Seri and General Camporini, candidates for the next European elections.

In a full Piazza Amiani, Calenda started from the pillars of his pro-European vision: “We are an alternative to Schlein’s very confused vision of Europe, partly in favor of Ukraine and partly not, and Meloni’s small one. Suffice it to say that Italy is 25th out of 27 in the European Parliament in terms of influence, therefore we must elect competent people. We have nominated authoritative figures such as General Camporini, former chief of staff of the Air Force and defense and your mayor Massimo Seri who has demonstrated his ability to spend European funds well. It should be known that Italy spends half of the resources that arrive from Brussels, so we must have capable representatives who are characterized by competence and seriousness who have experience to bring results to our country”.

Instead, Massimo Seri wanted to enhance his experience as an administrator and as mayor of Fano for two legislatures: “We want to bring the point of view of the local authorities that have best understood the role of Europe for the benefit of our citizens and our country. I think there is a need for a more integrated Europe, a true foreign policy and a shared fiscal policy in which welfare and healthcare represent two pillars. We must fight to make the strategic role of European citizenship understood, through a variety of concrete and positive actions. Our experiences go in this direction, so much so that the Action program is the only true political program suited to the expectations that exist to build a better future thanks to Europe”.
