This is the press release issued by ‘Noi Voci di Donne’: “First congress for the States General of Equal Opportunities to promote gender policies at a local level, involving all administrations and orders and associations that work in support of equal opportunities The objective of the General States of equal opportunities promoted by Noi Voci di Donne is to adopt a common strategy – we read in the press release – against all forms of discrimination, violence and gender stereotypes through a moment of discussion and sharing with local administrators to arrive at the exchange of good practices to improve the quality of social and economic life of women in the territories. And it will be on 13 September 2024 that Noi Voci di Donne will present the “Equal Opportunities Observatory” of the Province of Caserta. A platform capable of offering an information and dissemination service of interventions and projects in the field of Equal Opportunities implemented by the municipalities belonging to the Province of Caserta by the associations and orders that will join. On that occasion, all participants – it continues – will be invited to present their document of interventions implemented in their municipality where citizens can consult it through the platform.
The Equal Opportunities Commissions of the Municipalities of Caserta and the relevant Councilors and the various social representatives who will present their document will be invited to the meeting of the States General on equal opportunities. A way – continues the press release – to network and share different programmatic ideas, explains Pina Farina President of Noi Voci di Donne, according to the needs of each individual municipality, but above all a way to discuss and grow on issues of collective interest.
