Alpine rescue, leaders and deputies in training

TRENT. The course for heads and deputy heads of the Trentino Alpine and Speleological Rescue Station, organized by the Provincial School, in collaboration with the National School of Directors of Rescue Operations (SNADOS), ended on Thursday 2 May.

The course, which began last April 20th, involved the chiefs and deputy chiefs elected last February in the various stations for one day in person and three evenings remotely, with the aim of giving them information and useful support in carrying out their role, as important as it is delicate.

Station chiefs and deputy chiefs, in fact, have a fundamental function: they have the great responsibility of organizing rescue interventions in the area of competence, guaranteeing a service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Many topics were addressed in the training: from the organizational to the administrative, legislative and legal aspects that concern this reality, from the training plan to the functioning of the Single Emergency Centre, from the relationship with other civil protection bodies to the responsibilities of managing interventions, from communication to relations with the media and much more.
