From May 31st to June 2nd, the city of Rimini turns yellow to welcome “Good Bike! Gente di Bici”, the traveling event that celebrates the world of bicycles in conjunction with the historic passage of the Tour de France in Italy. The Lucio Battisti roundabout, in front of Piazzale Fellini, will transform into the fulcrum of this free party open to everyone, adults and children.
During the three days of celebration, the public will have the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the world of cycling. Planned activities include bike baptism for the little ones, BMX acrobatic shows, bike trials and bike polo. Enthusiasts will be able to attend talks on road safety education, discover new sports related to two wheels and enjoy performances by professionals in the sector.
The area managed by the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) will be the beating heart of the event, where conferences, book presentations, stories of champions and interventions by authors and cyclists, both past and contemporary, will be held.
There will be no shortage of musical entertainment, with a live band that will liven up the days of the festival, adding a touch of energy and joy to the festive atmosphere.
To complete the offer, there will be a selection of food trucks curated by Streeat© Food Truck Festival, the first traveling festival of quality street food in Italy, which has been delighting visitors’ palates with its culinary offerings for ten years.
“Good Bike! Gente di Bici” is not only an event to celebrate the Tour de France and its first time in Italy, but also an opportunity to promote the culture of cycling, underlining the importance of this sustainable and healthy practice.
