The Giro d’Italia opens today, Saturday 4 May, with departure from Venaria towards Turin at 2pm. On television, the popular Corsa Rosa – last year around 10 million people lined the streets – will be broadcast entirely live until 26 May by Rai and Eurosport.

EUROSPORT1. It is the network chosen by Discovery to follow the Giro d’Italia “minute by minute” with Luca Gregorio’s story alongside technical commentary from Riccardo Magrini, Moreno Moser, Wladimir Belli as well as the incursions of the two-time winner Alberto Contador sent on the roads of the Corsa Rosa.
