FIUMICINO – «Work worth 700 thousand euros will start shortly which will lead to the renovation of the ATER houses in via Oder». This is what was communicated by the councilor for Construction, Transport, Ater Angelo Caroccia who in recent months carried out an inspection with the director of the provincial Ater, the lawyer. «The contract with the company in charge of the work will be signed on Monday – explains the Councilor – and at the weekend we will see the first movement of the construction site in the affected areas and then proceed in the following days with the more incisive work to make the cornices safe, of the curtain and columns of the buildings. The facades of the buildings will also be repainted in several places. In one of the last meetings I had with the ATER Director, I also asked for the elevators to be overhauled and the greenery to be mowed in the external areas located along the perimeter of the buildings. Furthermore, joint inspections with municipal staff and Ater continue, we are making an estimate for the renovation of the other accommodation in the Fiumicino area”, concludes Caroccia.
