CATANIA – New appointment with Lungomare Fest Sunday 5 May and more closed to traffic of the Catania seafront, from 10 am to 7 pm, from Piazza Europa to Piazza Mancini Battaglia.
What the event consists of: the planned attractions
An event dedicated to sport, culture and solidarity. As usual, it will attract thousands of citizens who want entertain yourself in the open air on footin bikes or on scooterson the rocky seafront of Catania.
Among the attractions planned for Sunday 5 May, a small “Olympic village“. Promoted by the sports promotion body Csain in collaboration with the Municipality, they will be possible exhibit adults and children.
In Piazza del Tricolore will stop the auto-books for the promotion and exchange of books, organized by the municipal Culture Directorate and the Amts and the blood bank of the San Marco Volunteer Blood Donors association. It will be possible to do free clinical screening and the blood donation.
Also organized was aFamily Day” with puppet shows, readings, stories and workshops for adults and children organized by the Arcobaleno Families association. Confirm the “houses” with the now traditional ones craft markets that animate the Lungomare Fest.

Traffic management during the event
In conjunction with the Lungomare Fest, therefore from 10am to 7pm, the Municipal Administration has adopted a plan for temporary road corrections. This is with the aim of facilitating a reduction in vehicular traffic in the surrounding areas.
