L’AQUILA – Coach’s athletes are ready for the last day of the championship The Greek and coaches Milani are preparing to conclude the season in a positive way.
Once the April 28th match against US Roma was over, which saw them defeated in a photo finish in a match the likes of which had not been seen for years, the young L’Aquila team closed ranks, got over the disappointment of the missed party and threw themselves into headlong into work, with the aim of offering a performance that lives up to potential.
Next opponent Messina Rugby who in the first leg, also thanks to a terrible night of travel, had left Fattori down by a resounding 80 to 0. The neroverdi were therefore able to work peacefully, recovering the injured players Suarez And Nardantonio and found the best conditions to face this last effort which would mean the leap in category. The match is brought forward to 12.00 on Sunday 5 May to allow the neroverdi to return at a suitable time.
There is trust and a lot of harmony in the environment, the 3500 spectators who repopulated the stands of the historic facility in the center of the city during the last match – to the detriment of the result – tell of a trend of positive interest for city rugby, a real and a real injection of confidence for a Club founded just a few years ago which has put a group of young people, all born in L’Aquila, at the center of its sporting project. A group of kids ready to write a new chapter in their story.
