Sicily, the thefts of Fiat Pandas continue

Another Fiat Panda victim of thieves in the Agrigento area. This time it was the turn of an employee of the Moses Village, who saw his car disappear into thin air while it was parked regularly in front of a shop.

The man, having noticed the theft, immediately alerted the State Police and filed the report. Officers intervened on site to start investigations and try to identify those responsible. The images of any video surveillance systems present in the area are also being examined, which could provide useful elements for the continuation of the investigations.

This episode is part of a worrying trend of thefts of Fiat Pandas which is affecting the province of Agrigento. In recent months, in fact, there have been several cases of cars of this model stolen or attempted theft, both in the capital and in other residential areas.

Just a few months ago, in a single night, two Pandas disappeared in the center of Agrigento, in via Papa Luciani and via Esseneto. Even in areas such as Maddalusa and the historic center, thefts of this type have occurred, with three cars disappearing in the space of a few days at the end of August.

The reasons for this particular attention by thieves towards Fiat Pandas are not yet clear. Perhaps their ease of maneuverability and diffusion on the market make them a more attractive target for criminals.
