Rho – On Thursday 2 May, State Police agents, coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office, carried out a house arrest order for a 24-year-old man accused of producing and disseminating child pornography.
The investigation was triggered by the complaint of two mothers of underage girls who had been forced to film themselves and share the images through the chat on their Instagram profile. The girls were contacted by the boy who he introduced himself with the false name of Mirko Agridi aged 14 and were forced to film themselves under the double threat of committing violence against their family members and of spreading the images to their acquaintances.
The 24-year-old was already known to the police at the Rho-Pero police station after being arrested last December for having “knowingly” procured and detained pornographic material “made using minors” and, on that occasion, he was granted house arrest. A large quantity of videos and photos had already been found in the IT equipment seized in December and, for now, 50 minors who were victims of solicitation have been identified, but the ongoing investigation could lead to new developments, which is why it is important to continue to denounce as underlined by the mayor of Rho Andrea Orlandi: “I want to make an appeal to all the young people who have read the news in recent days about this 24-year-old man stopped by the Rho Police, the appeal is to verify all accounts from which you are contacted. I speak especially to you young boys and girls, look, check, never trust and in the face of every suspicion, doubt, or question that comes to mind, Report it to the police or even to your parents, coaches or caregivers who can then report it. Listen to me – Orlandi then concluded – be careful!”
The accounts used by the harasser
In addition to the fake profile registered to Mirko Agridi, the 24-year-old also used an Instagram profile registered to Rebecca Monti who was indicated as Mirko’s cousin, but there were numerous accounts used to contact minors.
The investigative activity has identified the accounts used by the harasser to lure victims, if other boys and girls have been contacted by the profiles indicated below, they can contact the Rho Pero police station at the telephone number 029390551.
