The deputy Alberto Gusmeroli intervenes on the issue of the closure of the section from Arona to Premosello Chiovenda for works planned by PNRR for three months from June to September.
Railway closure
“I spoke with both the CEO of RFI and Trenitalia, Eng. Strisciuglio and Eng. Corradi, proposing to them, in addition to replacement buses, to move the canceled trains on the Domodossola-Arona route to the Domodossola-Borgomanero-Novara route with two hypotheses: 1 ) from Novara then go to Milan with strengthened connections or 2) replacement buses from Borgomanero to Arona (9 km) and then return from Arona to Milan, asking for a table with all interested parties including the two Regions and Trenord. Ing.Corradi will speak to his Trenord colleague and let’s see if what is proposed will be possible. In all cases I have asked, but I had already done so previously, to reduce inconveniences and problems to a minimum”.
