Ururi: The Biancoceleste people celebrating the third consecutive victory

Joy exploded once again in the streets of Ururi, with the Biancoceleste people celebrating the third consecutive victory of their chariot. The Carrese, a long-awaited event rooted in the city’s tradition, saw the Giovani excel after a close fight against the Giallorossi Giovanotti.

The competition started with the Giovani, last year’s winners, followed by the Giovanotti, who started 25 meters away. Unfortunately, the Fedayyn were forced to remain on foot due to organizational problems, leaving the match to a tight challenge between the Biancocelesti and the Giallorossi.

After the blessing of the animals and carts, around 3pm, the descent towards the start and then the race began. The Giovani maintained their lead for the entire duration of the competition, resisting the attacks of the Giovanotti who attempted to overtake but failed.

The victory of the Youth is a cause for great celebration for the entire Biancocelesti community, which will have the honor of carrying the Holy Wood of the Cross in procession.

With this third consecutive victory, the Giovani demonstrate once again their strength and determination, consolidating their status as the undisputed protagonists of the Carrese Urunese. Now attention shifts to the next stage, the Carrese of Portocannone, scheduled for May 20th, where the Giovani will try to defend their title and continue to raise the name of Ururi.
