The Councilor for Beauty was expected in the city this evening at 6.30pm for a meeting during which he would talk about the Middle Ages, the art and symbols of the city. In practice, in his role as a critic and art connoisseur, he would have addressed the theme of this edition.
But the initiative was cancelled. The information arrives via social media: “We inform you that this afternoon’s event at 6.30 pm – we read on the profile of the event – scheduled in the courtyard of Palazzo dei Priori, entitled “The Middle Ages, the art and the symbols of city”, was canceled due to unexpected commitments of Professor Vittorio Sgarbi, speaker of the meeting”.
The meeting was part of a series of events included in the program, with the title “Beyond San Pellegrino in Fiore”.
Sgarbi probably must have gone a little too far.
