They stole 64 perfumes from shops at Milan-Linate airport before boarding the flight to Palermo. Last March 26, the police arrested and investigated nine Italian citizens aged between 19 and 51 for aggravated theft. The police officers, after receiving the report for the theft of numerous packages of perfume, filed by the company that manages the shop in the “departures” area of the airport, viewed the footage from the security cameras and identified nine men who, after having taken the perfume packages and placed them in their luggage, they left the shop without paying and then boarded the flight to Palermo. By cross-referencing the data of the names of the flight to Palermo with the data of the passengers, the agents ascertained that the perpetrators of the theft would have passed through Linate again in the following days and departed on a flight again to Palermo. A special observation service was therefore organized which caught the nine men red-handed, having carried out security checks, entered the perfumery and, after taking numerous boxes of perfumes, left. Stopped by the police, they were found with 64 perfumery products worth around 15,000 euros.
