“It’s now been a fortnight since a open sewer was formed in front of“Galileo Galilei – Pascoli” Comprehensive Institute Of Reggio Calabria, causing inconvenience and concern among students, parents and school staff. The situation is critical: the nauseating smell spreads through the air and sanitary conditions are at risk. Despite repeated reports, the competent authorities have not yet intervened to resolve the problem, leaving the school community in a state of uncertainty and frustration.” Thus begins the report from a citizen of Reggio Calabria, sent to our editorial staff.

“The malfunctioning of the sewerage network in this densely populated area frequented by young students raises important questions about the maintenance of urban infrastructure and public health.
