Celebrate the iconic places of the city linked to the element of water through shows and educational events. The ‘Grand tour of the waters – Journey to the places of the Marathon’ is scheduled from 7 to 11 May, organized by the Asa 2008 association with the patronage of the Municipality of Terni.
A musical theater show
The event, conceived by the trumpeter and singer from Terni Fabrizio Longaroni, aims to celebrate the iconic places of the city linked to the element of water and touched by the route of the historic Water Marathon, scheduled for Sunday 12 May, through shows and educational events. The flagship event of the event will be the show ‘Dinamo – Story of a fountain symbol of a city’, by and with Fabrizio Longaroni and taken from the publication ‘The fountain in Piazza Tacito symbol of the ‘900’ by Danilo Sergio Pirro. The story of the zodiac fountain and of the city and national cultural context in which it saw the light will be narrated by the voice of Riccardo Leonelli in musical theater form with the help of suggestive period images, projected with immersive technique, which will envelop the protagonists of the show. The musical suggestions that will accompany the historical journey will be performed by Fabrizio Longaroni and his band of Umbrian musicians (Tiziano Tetro, Cristian Pratofiorito, Matteo Fabrizi, Francesco Della Sala) with the voices of Marialuna Cipolla and Michele Zacaglioni, the vocalists Marta Fabrizi, Mauro Antonelli, Sofia Castrichino, Martina Fioretti and the extraordinary participation of the accordionist Fabio Ceccarelli. The show will be staged on Friday 10 May at 9pm at the Secci theatre. Tickets on pre-sale from New Sinfony and on the website www.ticketitalia.com.
A theatrical piece
The Marmore waterfall and the Nera river, with the great and small characters who have passed through it over the centuries, including the great singer from Terni Gina Palmucci whose centenary of death is on the centenary, will instead be the protagonists of the theatrical piece ‘the memory of the waters – Homage to Nera Marmora’, by and with Stefano de Majo, with the soprano Francesca Bruni and the pianist Sabina Belei, also on stage at the Secci theater on Saturday 11 May at 6pm with free admission while seats last. The event will be preceded by the guided urban itinerary ‘You are no longer the same.
